Armchair, table with manual instructions and sound

Project Siesta is interpretation of classical theme in sculpture- torso.
Torso meaning the human body considered without head, arms or legs is placed on an armchair where it rests without need to use any of the missing parts. Exploring the inside organs and functions of torso I choose the sound of digestion. Conecting digestion with siesta, a short nap taken in the early afternoon, often after lunch. A microphone with the sounds of digestion was placed inside the armchair. Sound created an imaginary body/ torso having a nap.
Together with the arimchair part of this work are also instruction with the pictures showing how to build your own Siesta.
